You’ll learn the official KCBS judging process, taste real turn‑ins, and practice scoring like a pro. Your palate training includes sampling competition‑level barbecue from multi‑time Grand Champion Small Axe BBQ, giving you a true taste of what top teams bring to the table.

After class wraps on Friday, September 25th, keep the fun rolling at The Big Meat Up at Flatstick Pub — a lively gathering of judges, teams, KCBS members, and BBQ fans.

Then, just two days later, you’ll have the opportunity to judge your first KCBS‑sanctioned competition at Smoke on the Sound.

Class Fee: $150
Additional Requirement: KCBS membership (purchased separately)
